The Hong Kong 49er sailing team of Akira Sakai and Russell Aylsworth finished 4th in race 13 and finished 1st in the final race. They share the same net points with the Korean team. However, due to finishing 1st in more races compared to the Korean team, they won the bronze medal at the Asian Games.
The Hong Kong 49er FX team of Sandy Choi and Maddalena Di Salvo finished 3rd in race 13 and ranked 5th overall.
Girl ILCA 4 sailor Ziyan Huang finished 5th overall; while Boy ILCA 4 sailor Daniel Chan also finished 5th overall.
Women’s ILCA 6 sailor Stephanie Norton sailed very well today. She finished 2nr in race 10, and 1st in race 11, and is currently in 2nd place overall! Men’s ILCA 7 sailor Nicholas Bezy currently ranks 4th overall.
There are no races for men’s kites today.
