Congratulations to Hong Kong 29er sailors Emily Polson and Tiffany Mak for receiving the Shine Tak Foundation Outstanding Junior Athlete Award from the Hong Kong Sports Institute

Congratulations to Hong Kong 29er sailors Emily Polson and Tiffany Mak for receiving the Shine Tak Foundation Outstanding Junior Athlete Award from the Hong Kong Sports Institute. This is the second time Emily and Tiffany have received the Outstanding Junior Athlete Award after half a year!

The award presentation ceremony of the 3rd Quarter Shine Tak Foundation Outstanding Junior Athlete Awards was held yesterday. Tiffany and Emily received the awards again after receiving the award in 2023 1st Quarter. This is also the third consecutive quarter for Hong Kong sailors to receive these awards. ILCA 6 sailors Peter Jessop and Jeremy Ma were two of the recipients in the 2nd Quarter.

Tiffany and Emily achieved very good results in local and overseas regattas last year, including first place in the following regattas:

2023 29er Asian Championship (Sun Hung Kai & Co. Hong Kong Race Week)

29er female and 29er U16T class at the Australian 9er National Championships

Female U17 class at the 2023 29er EuroCup Poland

Baltic Skiff Cup

Female U17 class at 2023 29er World Championship

29er Eurocup 2023 Italy Female U17 class
