Hebe Haven Yacht Club Open Dinghy Regatta successfully concluded on Sunday.
The event included multiple official ranking races for Hong Kong Laser Class Association, Hong Kong Optimist Dinghy Association and also Sailability Hong Kong. All the ranking races made for exciting competition for the two-day regatta. For Laser Radial class, Julian Hill came out on top, as Lucas Minne won Laser 4.7 class. Onto the HKODA Optimist Dinghy class race, Peter Jessop is the overall champion in the Open category. Virgile Bertrand, on the other hand, successfully defended his crown in the 2.4mR class race.
The regatta this year is also one of the highlighted events of Women’s Sailing Festival in Hong Kong, co-held by HHYC and Sailability Hong Kong. We could see how the ladies left a great impression on us with their fine performances as well!
