Organized by Hong Kong Optimist Dinghy Association, Hong Kong Sailing Federation and Hebe Haven Yacht Club, the HKODA Open and National Champions 2020 (27-28/2) successfully concluded yesterday. After a long-awaited year, local young sailors could finally race again to get the best possible ranking.
For this edition, 3 main categories of competitions were held for the youngsters to compete at – Optimist main, Optimist Intermediate and Green Fleet.
The overall winner of the Optimist main and national champion is Emily Polson. Matthieu Tancock and Jonathan Zeppezauer won the overall first place of Optimist Intermediate and Green Fleet respectively.
