The First National Student (Youth) Games, Open Group, will be held in Beihai, Guangxi, with the Finals being held in November 2023. Selected Hong Kong sailors will be accepted for direct entry into the Finals.

HKSF Council has approved on 7th July 2023 the selection of athletes to represent Hong Kong, competing in The First National Student (Youth) Games, 5-15 November 2023 at Beihai Guanzhi (subject to LCSD approval):
• ILCA 7 Male – Peter Jessop, Ma Yuk, Tommy Huanting Wong;
• ILCA 6 Female – Aiesha Shekhar;
• ILCA 4 Male Daniel Chan, Seb van Ommeron, ILCA 4 Female – Ziyan Huang,
• Optimist (nominated by HKODA) – Tara Maliah, Female; Manchak Cheung, Male; Katie Lai Female. One other to follow and name will be circulated.
