The 51th edition of the Youth Sailing World Championships will be held at The Hague, Netherlands, from 8-15 July 2022.
The Youth World Championships are seen as the stepping stone to the World Sailing Championships. The talents up to 19 years compete against each other on a high level and from there they can move on to the top. There are almost no Olympic medal winners who did not also participate in the Youth World Championships.
Below sailors are deemed to be selected to participate the Youth Sailing World Championships 2022
ILCA6 Male: Charlie Robinson
29er Male: Casey Law/Jack Dingemans
29er Female: Emily Polson / Maddalena Di Salvo
Note: Subject to the selected athletes are members of HKSF and be an ordinary resident in Hong Kong and have resided in Hong Kong for a period of 7 years.
