The Hong Kong National Sailing Team had a good start on the first race day at the Hangzhou Asian Games

The first race day of the sailing event in the Hangzhou Asian Games has finished. The Hong Kong 49er sailing team Akira Sakai and Russell Aylsworth had a pretty good start on the first race day. They finished 3rd in the first race, 4th in the second race, and in the third race finished in 1st place, currently ranked 3rd overall; while Hong Kong 49er FX team Sandy Choi and Maddalena Di Salvo currently rank 6th.
Men’s ILCA 7 sailor Nicholas Bezy ranked 6th in race 1. Then he quickly caught up to 2nd place in race 2 and is currently ranked 3rd; while women’s ILCA 6 sailor Stephanie Norton is currently ranked 4th.
Boy ILCA 4 sailor Daniel Chan finished 3rd and 4th in race 1 and 2 respectively, and currently ranks 3rd overall. Girl ILCA 4 sailor Ziyan Huang finished 5th in both race 1 and 2, and currently ranks 5th overall.
As for the men’s kite, Hong Kong kiteboarder Alex Leung currently ranks 6th after completing four races.
