Background
International Olympic Day is an annual, global celebration that takes place on 23 June. Following the three pillars set out by International Olympic Committee (IOC) i.e. MOVE, LEARN and DISCOVER, Olympic Day summons people across the world to get active MOVE, LEARN about the Olympic Values and DISCOVER new sports. Three intrinsic values: Excellence, Friendship and Respect, are powerfully conveyed at the time of the Olympic Games.
Aims
For the new generations to embrace the philosophy of Olympism through different platforms, the Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China (SF&OC) organises the “2021 Olympic Day – Colouring and Drawing Competition”. It aims to provide an opportunity for our children and everyone to learn the Olympic Values through the drawing process and to celebrate Olympism with their artwork.

An exhibition of the winning pieces are to be held tentatively from 23 July to 13 August 2021 while the Awards Presentation Ceremony will be held on 24 July 2021. The deadline for entry and submission of artwork will be on 23 June 2021.
